Moxlift LLC ("Moxlift," "we," "us," or "our") operates this website and provides marketing and communication services to local service businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us directly. When you submit a form on this website, request a consultation, or contact us, we collect the information you provide: your name, business name, email address, mobile phone number, and any details you include about your business or your inquiry.
Information collected automatically. When you visit this website we may collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. We use this to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful.
We do not collect payment card numbers on this website, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years of age.
2. Why we collect it
We use the information above to:
- respond to your inquiry and provide the services you asked about
- schedule, confirm, remind you about, and follow up on appointments and consultations
- send you text messages you have consented to receive (see Section 3)
- send transactional email such as confirmations and receipts
- maintain business records and comply with our legal obligations
- improve our website and our services
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.
3. Text messaging (SMS)
This section describes our text messaging program. Please read it carefully.
How we obtain your consent
We send text messages only to people who have given us express consent to receive them. You provide that consent by checking the SMS consent checkbox on a form on this website, moxlift.com. That checkbox is not pre-checked — you must actively select it. You may also consent verbally or in writing during a scheduled consultation, which we record in our system.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing anything from us.
Consent is given directly to Moxlift LLC
The consent you give is given directly to Moxlift LLC and applies only to messages sent by Moxlift LLC. We do not obtain phone numbers or consent from third parties, data brokers, affiliates, or lead-generation vendors, and we do not pass yours to anyone else.
Moxlift LLC is not an affiliate marketing program and is not a lead-generation program. We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer consumer contact information or messaging consent to any other business for their own marketing purposes.
The commitment that matters most
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
What our messages contain
Messages from Moxlift LLC relate to your inquiry and your relationship with us: replies to questions you have asked, appointment scheduling and confirmations, appointment reminders, follow-ups after a missed call, and service updates about work we are performing for you.
Message frequency, cost, and how to stop
- Message frequency varies depending on your activity and your conversation with us.
- Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving text messages. Check your plan.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and then no further messages.
- Reply START to resubscribe if you opt out and later change your mind.
- Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details in Section 10.
Carrier liability
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier's network and on your device, and we cannot guarantee that every message arrives.
Supported carriers
Our messages are supported on major U.S. mobile carriers. Carrier support may change without notice, and we are not responsible for carrier-side changes that affect delivery.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited situations:
Service providers. We use trusted vendors to operate our business — for example, a telecommunications provider to actually deliver text messages, an email delivery provider, and cloud hosting and database providers. These vendors process your information only on our instructions and only to perform that service for us. They are not permitted to use your information for their own marketing purposes. Using a telecommunications provider to deliver a message you consented to receive is not sharing your number for marketing, and it does not change our commitment in Section 3.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Business transfers. If Moxlift LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction. Text messaging consent will not be transferred to an unrelated business for its own marketing.
5. How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as we have an active relationship with you and afterward only as long as needed for our legitimate business purposes, to resolve disputes, and to satisfy legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Records of your messaging consent and of any opt-out are retained for as long as required to demonstrate compliance. You may request deletion as described in Section 7.
6. Security
We protect your information with access controls, encryption of stored credentials, and limits on who inside our business can view client data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take these obligations seriously.
7. Your privacy rights
California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, you have the right to:
- know what personal information we collect about you and how we use it
- request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- request deletion of your personal information
- correct inaccurate personal information
- opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information — note that Moxlift LLC does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by that law
- not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using Section 10. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond within the timeframes the law requires.
Everyone else. Regardless of where you live, you may ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, and we will honor reasonable requests.
8. Third-party links
This website may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites. Review their policies separately.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we handle text messaging consent will be posted here before they take effect.
